On 16 April 2025, the meeting of the Ethics and Professional Ethics Committee with doctoral
students took place at Biskra University Letters and Languages Faculty attended by of the
Faculty Dean, Dr Ibrahim Kethiri, and the Ethics and Professional Ethics Committee

Chairman, Pr Djaber Nassreddine, with the training teams’ heads. This was to raise awareness
to adhere to professional ethics in higher education and scientific research, as the
presentations covered various topics related to the professional and transactional aspects of
the university profession. Professor Saliha Chelli presented ‘‘Ethics in Higher Education and
Scientific Research’’, highlighting the university values and principles. The aim is to
consolidate the culture of sound professional behaviour and to build a generation that is aware
of its academic and ethical responsibilities.
