On 16th October, Biskra University Central Library organised an open day about the Central
Library and the Network and Information Systems Centre attended by the University
community, with the vice-rector,

Mr. Abdelhamid Djeffal, Faculties Deans, the University
Central Library Director, Mr. Abdelwahab Rais, and the NISC Manager, Mr. Azzedine
Saouli. This well received by students and teachers two-day event provided a detailed
explanation of the Central Library services and the vital role and tasks of the NISC of the
digital platforms educational process. These Open Doors general aim is to introduce students
to the importance of the library as a main source of knowledge and information, and the
electronic and technical services that the NISC provides. These are to ease access to essential
pedagogical and academic content, to improve the University’s technical infrastructure for
students and teachers communication of educational experience, to strengthen the University’s
position as a leading educational institution.
