As part of the celebration of the World Immunisation Week, with Biskra Directorate of
Health, Medical and Biskra University Social Centre announced on 20 October 2024, the
vaccination campaign launch against diphtheria and tetanus.

The University Rector, Prof. Mahmoud Debabeche, supervised the campaign, with the centre official, Dr Ahmed Merdassi,
and doctors of the centre. The university community attended the health events, to vaccinate a
group of teachers, staff and workers. The Centre’s medical staff called on all university staff
to take part in the process as the booster vaccine, as is repeated every 10 years, ensures
protection against infection with the disease. For a healthy and sound university environment.
