The Laboratory of Physics of Thin Films and Applications, and in colaboration with the Faculty of Exact Sciences, Nature Sciences and Life at the University of Biskra, organize the third National Conference on Thin Films and their Applications on 15 and 16 April 2020 at the Lecture Hall of the Scientific Research Laboratories "Dr. Bahlali Sid".

 This third edition comes after the success of the previous two editions, to be an opportunity for researchers and PhD students from various universities in the country to meet and discuss all matters related to physics and chemistry of surfaces and thin films and the latest developments in international research in this field and its technological and industrial applications. The Conference of this edition revolves around the following four axes:

1. Surface coatings techniques, parameters optimization, elaboration and characterization

2. Optical, Electrical and magnetic coatings

3. Protective and tribological coatings

4. Simulation and modeling of growth, structure and properties of thin films
