To promote innovation and support efforts to protect intellectual property in a university
environment, Biskra University TISC is launching a series of training workshops entitled
‘Oasis of Innovation’; for anyone interested in industrial property, including students,
teachers, researchers and inventors. This initiative forms part of the Centre’s regular activities
and aims to equip participants with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to
safeguard innovative concepts and initiatives, in accordance with No. 1275 Decision.
Workshop themes:
1. How to formulate an idea in the form of a patent.
2. Search techniques in former studies.
3. Trademark basics and protection mechanisms.
These small groups will hold workshops to ensure interaction and active participation, and the
time and place will be in a formal invitation sent to registrants later.
