Biskra University Organised the 24-25 Doctoral Competition Under the Rector’s Supervision, with the Use of Modern Technology.

Biskra University organised the 2024-2025Doctoral Competition wherein 9,933 candidates
participated that met the requirements.

With 13 divisions and 26 specialisations, candidates
competed for 104 available places. For a right organisation, the exams were on several dates:
8 February, 13 February, 15 February, 20 February and 22 February, for smooth and
transparent process. The University Rector, assisted by the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate
Education, supervised personally the exams and made a careful follow-up of the various
preparation and implementation stages to ensure the best conditions for the candidates, as well
as with faculties’ deans, administrators, officials, teachers and various ranks and specialities
university staff, who contributed to the success of this important academic event. The
University used modern technology to run the competition, using a QR code to assign
candidates and allow them to show their invitation via smartphone, smart watch or smart
board, to ensure formfitting, ease the procedures and avoid any irregularities.
Thanks to the personal supervision of the Rector and the direct supervision of the Vice-
Rector, and the joint efforts of the University’s administrators and teachers, the doctoral
competition took place in the best organisational conditions, reflecting the commitment to
academic excellence and the support of scientific research. On this occasion, the University
administration wishes the candidates every success and hopes they will contribute to
enriching scientific research and serving the community.
