On March 07, 2024, Biskra University, with its Social Services Committee, organized a celebration for employees, workers and teachers, and the university community, run by theUniversity Rector, Mr. Mahmoud Debabeche.

In his statement, he congratulated women on the occasion, praising their contributions for the progress in building the present and the future. He referred to their participation in fighting and inspiring struggle against colonialism, for freedom and dignity, considering March 8 th as a renewed opportunity to honour those who contributed to reaching the ranks among the first universities nationally and internationally. He also pointed to the success of women in various tasks and functions assigned to them despite other responsibilities of life. He finally invited them to carry on redoubling efforts to achieve more desired goals of progress, prosperity and advancement at Biskra University.
