In the October 26, 2023 issue of Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject, Biskra University has taken first place nationally alongside the University of Annaba and the University of Setif in the field of computer science, ranking 801-1000 globally.

Notably, the in the field of engineering, encompassing mechanics, electronics, irrigation, civil engineering, and other related areas, Biskra University has also ranked fourth (4) nationally and 1001+ globally. In the field of physical sciences, including physics, chemistry, and mathematics, it equally ranked fourth (4) nationally and 1001+ globally.
