The classification depends on THE World University Rankings, based on 05 indicators:
quality of education 29.5%, research environment 29%, and quality of research 30%,
international outlook 7.5%, and industry revenues 4%.
We note that the global university rankings Times Higher Education is an annual
classification of universities published by the British magazine Times Higher Education in
cooperation with Thomson Reuters in publishing the new classification system.
The ranking has gained great fame, and has become widely relied upon to evaluate
universities at the global level, along with the University of Shanghai World Academic
Ranking of Universities and the QS World University Rankings.
Here is a clarification regarding the method of the ranking calculation:
Times Magazine publishes the global ranking lists for the top 100 universities individually.
As for the rest of the universities that exceed the 100th rank, the magazine only mentions the
ranking range and points. In the case of the University of Biskra and the other universities
ranked +1501, their total score range is limited to ( 9.7 and 22.7) This does not mean that all
universities are ranked in the same rank, but rather each university is ranked according to its
points (Overall). The ranking of universities can be easily determined by means of the ranking
methodology (quality of education 29.5%, medium of research 29%, quality of research 30%,
international outlook 7.5% and industry revenues 4%) as shown in the figure below.
Congratulations to the university members for this achievement.
