In 2020, the CNRS, the French Embassy in Algeria and the Algerian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research join forces to create a mathematics chair in memory of Maurice Audin, French mathematics assistant at the faculty of 'Algiers, missing from the Algerian war [1] [1]. A mathematician or a mathematician member of an Algerian laboratory or Algerian university will be hosted in a French laboratory and his French counterpart will be hosted in an Algerian laboratory or university.
