Biskra University Rector Mr. Mahmoud Debabeche met, on 6 May 2025, with the members
of Biskra University General Union of Algerian Workers branch (U.G.T.A), in the presence
of the University General Secretary, Mr. Hakim Henano, and the Faculties’ Deans.

During the meeting, the members of the union branch raised a number of concerns and proposals,
focusing on the work process and other related issues. After listening to the various concerns
raised, the participants stressed their full commitment to work in the interests of all university
members. At the end, they stressed the importance of these regular meetings with the social
partners and the need for coordination to achieve common objectives.
